Alpha Psi Lambda at DePaul University
M.I.G.H.T.Y. Iota Chapter
Co-Ed Latino Fraternity
Mission and Purposes
Joining our Co-Ed Fraternity is a great way to learn crucial life skills outside of the classroom. Our mission statement is, "To promote continued personal and collective growth of our membership, success and unity through education, leadership, cultural awareness and community service."
About La Familia
These six students strongly felt there was a lack of unity among Latino students at DePaul University. They saw a need for unity and leadership in order to support the aspirations and successes of future Latino students at DePaul and within the city's Latino communities. The interest group felt that Alpha Psi Lambda could contribute to what was needed for the Latino(a) population at DePaul. By successfully establishing this network for themselves, they could carry others, no matter the gender or ethnicity, upon their shoulders.
